Insomnia Treatment Options

Canít sleep? Tossing and turning at night and waking your bed partner? Insomnia is experienced by 52-64% of patients seen by family doctors, with 10-40% having severe insomnia, which effects daytime functioning. If you suffer from insomnia and would like to participate in a treatment program for insomnia, please contact us. Shelley offers both a group treatment option and individual therapy sessions. She uses cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) which has shown to be effective as a first line treatment for chronic insomnia. Groups are run several times a year with the goal of 10-12 participants per group. This includes the screening session, group sessions and all pre/post assessment materials.
